Nova 25mm Jaw Set JS25N

Designed for small bowl (expanding dovetail mounting up to 6" dia) and small spigot (contracting mode) free end turning work (up to 5" long). Idea for gripping work below size that can be handled by the Standard 50mm Jaws.

Nova 35mm Bowl Jaws 6019

The 35mm bowl jaws fit perfectly into the current jaw range, picking up a small gap left between the 25mm and the 50mm.

These jaws are perfect for small to medium sizes with maximum grip, provided by the dovetail.

Nova 50mm Jaws JS50N

These jaws are standard with all NOVA chuck standard versions (excluding Nova Titan, which has the PowerGrip Jaw as standard).

Versatile all round jaw to get you started, before moving on to more specialized jaws. Able to handle both bowl and spigot projects.

Nova Pin Jaw Set JSPIN

These special 25mm extended jaws are designed to act like a pin chuck - expanding into a pre-bored hole. This is an especially useful technique for free form edge bowls. A real big advantage over Pin Chucks though is that you don't have to bore to an exact size - any size between the minimum and just under the maximum expansion will do. The longer jaws allow for a very powerful spigot grip for all smaller work like lace bobbins (up to 6" in length) and delicate pots etc. The jaws also have a dovetail to mount small bowls (up to 6" dia).

Nova Spigot Jaws

35mm JS-SP35 and 45mm JS-SP45

These jaws are available in two different internal sizes, 35mm and 45mm. They are designed to grip both in the contracting (gripping round or square spigots) and in the expanding mode with up to 10" long work piece. They are ideal for long, unsupported hollow boxes and vases. Their serrated tooth form makes for a very powerful grip that just won't let go.

Nova Step Jaw Set JS75DT

These step jaws are designed primarily to grip in the contracting mode, the base (foot) of footed bowls. The step sizes provide optimum gripping for three foot sizes with minimal crush damaged wood. There is also an expanding dovetail made for alternative recess gripping of bowls. Can hold bowls up to 12" in diameter.

Nova 100mm Jaw Set JS100N

The 100mm jaw sets are designed for an expanded dovetail grip (up to 14" dia), reverse dovetail grip for gripping footed bowls, limited spigot facility (up to 6" long) and provision to mount false wooden jaws, so customised jaws can be made for special purposes. They are made for a larger range of work than the standard 50mm jaws or Step Jaws.

PowerGrip Jaw Set PJSN

The most powerful jaw available for large spigot/hollow form turning on the SuperNova2. Also a multi purpose jaw for bowl turners and hollow form turners. Dovetail sizes fit neatly between the 75mm (3”) and the 130mm (5”) Jumbo Jaw sets. Included with all standard versions of the Nova Titan

Nova Cole Jaw Set JSCOLE

The Cole Jaws are a versatile set designed primarily for the re-chucking of bowls to remove the chuck marks or to re-shape the bottoms of bowls that have already been turned. Bowls up to 10" in diameter can be accommodated. Customised MDF segments can be made (not supplied as accessories) to increase holding diameter. With the addition of the Nova Jaw Sets which can be fitted to the Cole Jaws, a full range of facilities is available. Also an expanding dovetail facility for mounting bowls/platters and a reverse dovetail for mounting footed bowls/platters.

Nova 130mm Jaw Set JS130N

These jaws are designed to handle very large work up to 750mm(29") in diameter. With these jaws you don't run out of capacity using the Nova Chuck. Ad ideal 'companion' to the SuperNova chuck as the extra power of the SuperNova matches the big capacity of these jaws. No need to consider larger chucks or faceplates. Provision to mount false wooden jaws (so that customised jaws can be made for special purposes).

Long Nosed Jaws 6017

A 50mm rise above their mounting base means very long reach deep inside of bowls. Tremendous haolding power externally and internally. Ideal for green wood turning. Internal features dovetail grip for holding footed bowls and other footed work pieces and internal powergrip for holding spigoted work pieces. The long nosed jaws are a very versatile jaw.

75mm Bowl Jaws 6014

This jaw set is very versatile, has great holding power for large bowls and also moderate hollow forms.

Features and benefits

The dovetail walls are 3 x the thickness of conventional jaw types for rugged work holding for larger/heavier bowl work.
Screws go right through the wall section to add more securing force where it’s needed most.
Deep smooth walled dovetail holds wood gently but very firmly.

Titan Power Jaws 13029

A ‘supersized’ PowerGrip design these jaws combined with the power and capacity of the Titan Chuck – have far the most powerful grip of any other chuck or jaw combination. Able to hold spigot work up to 19” long.Special 3 hole fixing means these jaws can only be used in conjunction with the Nova Titan 5” Chuck, as the extra gripping power of the chuck enhances the PowerGrip’s action. Able to hold large work up to 750mm (29”) in diameter (with a dovetail facility with up to 120mm (5”) recess).

Vacuum Faceplate FPV

Chuck Insert I()NS

The insert has different lathe spindle thread sizes internally, and simply screws into the back of your Nova, SuperNova, SuperNova Deluxe or Nova Titan chucks. Once the insert is in place, you can then put your chuck onto your lathe.
FEATURES/BENEFITS
* Inserts are interchangeable between the Nova, Supernova, Supernova Deluxe and Nova Titan Chucks. The Compac chuck does not use the insert system.
